Great review Phil (and great job on the pics Dicfish), but I must say that the DVD is not as good as I would've hoped for (I don't have it but I've seen the screenshots).

Like I said in the review, I am not blessed with a large screen or HD TV but I genuinely couldn't see any problems with the picture quality at all.  Maybe a different screen would highlight some issues I can't see but it is still a pretty good release whichever way you look at it.  And compared to my old vhs rip with forced greek subs it is a veritable godsend. :)

Haven't bought the DVD yet, still not sure what to buy, the Koch or the French DVD

Looking at the screenshots, I'd say video quality is comparable to the Italian disc (that is not too good)
In his review Sebastian talks about a veil (don't remember the exact German word) that seems to  hang over the image ; I had the same impression when watching the Italian disc, the image lacks clarity
Maybe the used the same source (although I think the credits are in Italian on the Italian DVD)

haha well i have not been idle. i scored a full excel sheet of all of DSX (agentina) 's DVD releases and their audio options... how's that? :)
