I have a similar question to the one Justin B asked last Dec. Do all of these have terrible sound?

For instance Death Rides A Horse looks beautiful, full wide image. The English dialogue is crisp, clear, wonderful. And at $8.50 USD and free shipping it's an unbeatable bargain.

But the sound is horrible. As mentioned above, not the dialogue. But all the non-dialogue sounds have digital echo and sound annoyingly tinny and fake. The music is not in stereo, but some kind of psuedo-fake stereo with the EQ messed with. That's the real problem. Whenever there is music it is so loud and distorted it's painful to hear.

I'd certainly be interested in buying more of their DVDs but not if they all suffer from these audio distortions.

Yes, I'm using an old high quality analog stereo amplifier with two speakers so it's not a problem with my system or with some surround thing.
