Review

Robert Woods stars as Sam Walbash in this silly but enjoyable spaghetti western from prolific filmmaker Demofilo Fidani (using the pseudonym "Miles Deem"). Walbash is the sole survivor of a bloody saloon massacre carried out by Mash Flanigan (Dino Strano billed as "Dean Stratford"), a fugitive bandit seeking to eliminate potential witnesses. Walbash, whose younger brother is murdered in the bar, chases Flanigan to Golden City for revenge, leading to the obligatory showdown. Dennis Colt and Simone Blondell (Fidani's offscreen wife) co-star in this melodramatic time killer. One of the clever scenes is when gunfighters Gordon Mitchell, Lincoln Tate and Peter Martell interview for jobs and are introduced with their acting names Mitchell, Tate and Martell.
