Story

Colonel Pembroke (Coburn) is sent to recapture Fort Holman, which he surrendered as a Union comander to his enemy (Savalas) who killed his son. His team consists of convicted felons, mostly vagabonds, looters and rapists. Promising them a treasure of gold, they all set out for a clandestine operation to infiltrate the fort and retake it. It turns into a massacre.
