The famous actor, satirist, humorist, singer and pianist, Pavle Minčić on January 25th at the age of 84 in Belgrade. He was born on June 16, 1931 in Belgrade and was a theater actor, but he also tried his hand at film and radio. He appeared as the pianist in the 1967 Euro-western “The Gloden Sling”.


  • ROUSSOS, Demis (Artemios Ventouris Roussos) - 6/15/1947, Alexandria, Egypt - 1/25/2015, Athens, Greece

Greek singer Demis Roussos died on January 26, 2014. He was 68. Whose Demis Roussos you ask? He at one time was a part of a group called Aphrodite's Child with Vangelis. Roussos appeared in a French TV western musical called L'homme qui venait du Cher.

German Cobos, born in Seville, Spain on July 7, 1927, died last week at 88 years of age. Throughout his career he participated in over 115 films and many other occasions also on television. Cobos appeared in nine Euro-westerns including Apache Fury, Massacre at Fort Grant, Lola Colt, Wanted and Reverend Colt.


  • EKBERG, Anita (Kerstin Anita Marianne Ekberg) - 9/29/1931, Malmö, Skåne län, Sweden - 1/11/2015, Rocca di Papa, Rome, Lazio, Italy

Anita Ekberg, who became an international symbol of lush beauty and unbridled sensuality in the 1960 Federico Fellini film “La Dolce Vita,” died January 11th. She was 83. Ekberg appeared in three Euro-westerns “Heads or Tails” (1969) with John Ericson, “The Long Ride of Vengeance” (1972) with Richard Harrison and “Valley of the Dancing Widows” (1974) where her scenes were later cut. She was also married to two Euro-western actors Anthony Steel (1956-1959) and Rik Van Nutter (1963-1975).
