  • Not the best film in the box, but offers everything you'd expect from an upper B-grade Spaghetti Western, and more. Gianni Garko plays the word-savvy colt-artist like nothing. Volonte's brother Claudio Camaso plays the bandit like his brother would've done it. The film is nicely directed and has good music. Loredana Nusciak has her return to the screen as Django's lover and Fernando Sancho does his best acting as the fat bastard gangster. The film's plot sucks but offers a lot of fun and a sinister finale! --Sebastian 01:41, 4 May 2007 (CEST)
  • One of the best unofficial Django films, this is also a twin movie of the equally impressive Vengeance is Mine. The film is famous for the beautiful, almost surreal opening scene, set on a beach, with the bounty hunter Django talking to one of his victims. Also great is the finale, set in a dusty ghost town, with a cameo of Fernando Sancho. – Scherpschutter
  • On the surface a simple story of a bounty hunter’s quest to pull in a villain is worthy of the title’s price but in reality a film which offers so much more (...). It also happens, in my opinion, to be one of the finest Italian westerns ever made. – Phil H
