There is no reliable biographical data whatsoever on Liz (Louise) Barret(t). Supposedly—Internet Movie Database, German Wikipedia, Archivio del Cinema Italiano On-Line di ANICA—her real name is, or was, Luisa Baratto. If so, she might be the same person who was elected Miss Piemonte in 1964 and was a contender for the Miss Italia title that year. In any case, L. B. landed her first movie role in 1965, in Il boia scarlatto, an unsavory horror flick directed by Massimo Pupillo. She acted in eleven feature films from 1965 to 1968, credited in nine of them as Liz Barrett[1], in two as Louise Barrett[2]. Besides acting, she worked as a model, posing for so-called glamour magazines such as Girl Illustrated, Kent, and King. During her short career, L. B. appeared in five Western films.
