Synopsis

Apache halfbreed Chato (Bronson) escapes into the mountains after shooting the Sheriff in self defense. Quincey Whitmore (Palance), a former Confederate solider and experienced Indian Fighter puts a posse together to hunt him. With 15 men they comb the mountains only to realize that it's not them hunting Chato, but him leading them to their deaths....
