Synopsis

Disgraced Union officer Colonel Pembroke (James Coburn), offers to re-capture Fort Holdman, which he surrendered several years earlier to the Confederacy. Now under the control of the "Mad-Genius," Major Ward (Telly Savalas), Pembroke enlists the help of convicted felon Eli Sampson (Bud Spencer) and six other vagabonds in his suicidal mission, promising them gold in return for their skills.

Comment

Lame variation of the overused Dirty Dozen formula. The screenplay and the directing are remarkably uninspired. (by Stanton)
