White Feather decides to get back his tribe's horses by pretending to belong to another tribe and allowing himself to be taken prisoner. When the soldiers decide to take the herd to Fort Lapwai, they commission White Feather as the scout, however they soon realize that their scout is none other than vice chief of the Nez Percéz Indians.
