  • As all Garko starring westerns they seem to be a cut above average and very enjoyable to watch. Here his Sartana character has a great supporting cast on hand and he must deal with a "Wanted Dead or Alive" poster on his head. Good directing and screenplay help to move the film along. The score is good but not one of the best. - Tom Betts
  • The Sartana character is one of the most famous characters in Spaghetti Western. This film about the character is full of tricks and story twists and is generally quite entertaining. What flaws this movie is the slow-moving plot, the aweful music and the wooden acting. But I had my fun with this Sartana flick and it's not among the bad ones. Garko does a solid job but I especially liked Frank Wolff's character. Technically solid work but music and acting just isn't up to other Garko films. I'd say it's a B- among Spaghetti Westerns. --Sebastian 22:59, 11 August 2006 (CEST)
