should we delete this movie? --Sebastian 19:40, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

No, we shouldn't. It seems like it shows the diversity of the the genres. So much so that it is a genre bender. It is set in a desolate Spanish landscape and features a broad brimmed hat wearing hero. Korano.

but that doesn't make it a western --Sebastian 08:04, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

Most of these Zorro movies are indeed not westerns. Not only because there is no western setting, but also the lack of gunplay etc. Those films are more like adventure movies in my book. Of course there are exceptions like Nipoti di Zorro, I which is a western. Here's a couple of more non-western set films featured on the swdb: Collera del vento, La Invincibile cavaliere mascherato, L' Llanero, El --Bad Lieutenant 08:15, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

yes, we have to differentiate between those Zorro movies that indeed either have Western elements or are in fact set in the southwest USA or Mexico and those pit Zorro against a Western background, and those that are just swashbucklers taking place in Spain or otherwise and are no westerns by anyones standard. Those we should remove as they have no place on this website --Sebastian 10:54, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
