- Description: A wide range of Westerns are listed by year, starting in 1929 and ending in 1990. For each film listed a brief synopsis, a running time and a list of the main cast and crew is provided. The book does not focus specifically on Spaghetti Westerns, but does list a reasonably large number of them. A few important Spaghetti Westerns are missing (for example, "The Great Silence" and "Keoma"). In general the information provided is accurate, although the running times of many of the Spaghetti Westerns may be suspect (since the are often based on incomplete cuts) and where alternative titles it can be hard to find a film (the English title is usually used). The book is more satisfactory as a general overview of the western, than of Spaghetti Westerns in particular.
