Synopsis

Trying to mislead a group of settlers, the Oil Prince replaces their scout and plants a spy amongst them. Old Surehand and his Apache sidekick, Winnetou, offer to guide the leaderless wagon train across the treacherous Indian land, but the avaricious oil swindler kills the Navajo leader's son and naturally the Indians assume that Winnetou has betrayed them and go to war against the settlers.
