Bleak and violent revenge western with a hero who is driven halfway mad by his thirst for vengeance, and becomes thereby as bad as the men he is out to kill. Doubtless by far Baldanello's best SW, who nevertheless isn't a good enough director to be able to realise the full potential of the story (Garrone's [[Django il bastardo|Django the Bastard]] is a similar case). Still it is, if not a great masterpiece, what we like to call a minor classic. -- by [[User:Stanton|Stanton]]
