After witnessing the alleged robbery of a mine gold shipment by Mexican bandits that was in fact bags of sand, Sartana (Hilton) sets out to solve the mystery of the missing gold. Not only does he have to contend with mine representative Spencer (Lulli), bandit leader Mantas, and beautiful saloon owner Trixie in his search for the truth, but he also has to deal with the arrival of the white clad, parasol wielding, dandy gunman Sabbath whose true motives for being there are far from clear. Gunfights, murders, twists, turns, and double-crosses abound as the quest to possess the missing gold is on.

This surprisingly well made film was shown pretty late on german TV. But (thank god they broadcast widescreen!) the film was really well done. The camera work was excellent and so was de Masi's score. The acting was okay and the story was somehow bizarre. But it is definitely an enjoyable film nevertheless. --[[User:Admin|Sebastian]] 20:56, 31 Jul 2005 (CEST)
