While Almeris was the #1 spot in spain for filming Westerns, many were also shot further North in and around Barcelona. Mainly those written and/or produced by the Balcazar brothers. Filmmakers based in Barcelona. They had their own Western town built outside Barcelona to shoot Westerns they produced.
