Synopsis
America at the end of the 19th century: Word spreads like wildfire that tons of gold had been found on the Klondike. Half of America is in turmoil. Among the adventurers is the young lawyer Elam Harnish from San Francisco. Over the next few months, he experiences the hard search for gold, the merciless nature and the cunning stock exchange sharks of the big city.
