This actor also worked with director Luis Buñuel , in Simón en el Desierto , in which Silvia Pinal, Enrique Álvarez Félix and Claudio Book also participated in 1965. Laya Raki Randell-Wood passed away peacefully in the evening of December 21, 2018, in Hollywood, California. She was born Brunhilde Marie Jorns in Hamburg, Germany on July 27, 1927. Her mother left when Laya was only five years old. Her father remarried soon thereafter. He worked with the circus, where Laya learned acrobatics at a very young age, and performed in several circus acts. In her late teens, she partnered with fellow acrobat, Ricardo U. Partnerin, performing a 2-person dance/acrobatic act. From there, she learned ballet and other forms of dance. She developed a passion for dance, and was best known for her exotic dances. She performed throughout Europe and Italy in the 1940’s to 1950. She adopted the screen name, ‘Laya Raki’, at the suggestion of her manager. In 1954, she got a major part in the movie, ‘The Seekers’, (released in the U.S. as, 'Land of Fury’), as the exotic Moari dancer, alongside actor Jack Hawkins. It was shot in New Zealand, and was a big hit, bringing Laya into the spotlight. In 1955 Laya went to London to continue her acting career. Her roles in British films and TV productions made her an international star. She met and married actor Ron Randell in September 1957. They decided to move to the U.S. in the 1960’s, working between New York City and Los Angeles. Laya appeared in the popular TV series, ‘I Spy’, and other shows over the years in Los Angeles. Laya appeared as the gypsy girl alongside Randell in the Euro-western “Savage Pampas” 1966.

Kostelka was born in Přerov, Czechoslovakia on March 31, 1927, He was one of the most popular Czech actors of the 20th century, although he was seen mostly in minor and TV roles. Kostelka had only one major role, that one in Pavel Juráček's “Případ pro začínajícího kata” (1969) and he was very proud of it. For children, however, for many years he was mainly known as grandfather Lubin in ‘The Magic Kindergarten’, and his role in the TV series ‘Ranc U Zelené sedmy’ (1998-2005) was also significant. Kostelka appeared in two Euro-westerns: “Massacre at Marble City” (1964) as the bartender and “The Claim at Deaf Creek” (1972) as Bill Rogers).

Palner participated in film successes such as "Komtessen" in 1961, "Vil du se min smukke navle" in 1978 and "Solkongen" in 2005. Also the television series "Huset på Christianshavn", "Gøngehøvdingen" and "Bryggeren". Most of his acting career revolved around the theater which began in 1956 when he was admitted to Royal Danish Theater School. Palner's distinct deep voice was by many in audiobooks. Where he has spoken in over 200 titles, as well as having toured the country with talks about his life on the boards. Palner was at one time married to actresses Yvonne Ingdal and Beatrice Palner. He appeared as Oscar Wilde in the 1965 television western ‘Wilde west’.

Many have passed away, and while we are young growing up re-watching all these classics, many more will probably leave us. May they be remembered. Palner participated in film successes such as "Komtessen" in 1961, "Vil du se min smukke navle" in 1978 and "Solkongen" in 2005. Also the television series "Huset på Christianshavn", "Gøngehøvdingen" and "Bryggeren". Most of his acting career revolved around the theater which began in 1956 when he was admitted to Royal Danish Theater School. Palner's distinct deep voice was by many in audiobooks. Where he has spoken in over 200 titles, as well as having toured the country with talks about his life on the boards. Palner was at one time married to actresses Yvonne Ingdal and Beatrice Palner. He appeared as Oscar Wilde in the 1965 television western ‘Wilde west’.

He also worked as a location scout for the movies “My Name is Nobody”, David Bowie’s “The Man Who Fell to Earth” and "Once Upon a Time in the West."

American actor, director Peter Masterson died at his home in Kinderhook, N.Y., after a fall on December 18, 2018. The 84-year-old had been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2004. Born in Houston, Texas on June 1, 1934, his acting credits included "That Championship Season," "The Poison Tree," "The Great White Hope," and "The Trial of Lee Harvey Oswald" Broadway plays as well as a starring role as Walter Eberhart in "The Stepford Wives" and a supporting role in "The Exorcist" movies. He was best known for co-writing and co-directing "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" Broadway musical, for which he was nominated for two Tony Awards, and for directing "The Trip to Bountiful" film, adapted from his cousin Horton Foote's play. That movie earned actress Geraldine Page a Best Actress Academy Award. Masterson directed the 1989 Euro-western “Blood Red” starring Eric Roberts, Giancarlo Giannini, Dennis Hopper.
