Many have passed away, and while we are young growing up re-watching all these classics, many more will probably leave us. May they be remembered. What follows, is a work-in-progress, a growing list of legends who have passed away...

  • GORMAN, Pat (Patrick Gorman) - 19??, England, U.K. - 10/?/2018, England, U.K.

British supporting and character actor Pat Gorman passed away in October, 2018. His passing was mentioned in the last Equity Magazine. Gorman, was one of England's busiest background actors from the early 1960s to the late 90s. He appeared on The Saint, Adam Adamant Lives!, Doomwatch, Fawlty Towers, I, Claudius, The Tomorrow People, Blake's 7, Minder and The Bill, to name but a few. Film credits included The Elephant Man and the 1989 version of Batman. Gorman also played the Killer in the BBC series The Nightmare Man.Gorman appeared as a sentry in the 1973 British TV Euro-western 'Hawkeye, the Patfinder'.

Italian model, actress, singer Marisa Solinas died in Rome, Italy on February 12, 2019. He was 77. Born Marisa Anna Solinas on May 30, 1941 in Genoa, Liguria, Italy she was the sister of singer actress Maria Sole (Maria Vittoria Solinas). Marisa made her film debut as Rosy in 1968’s “Garter Colt” starring the late Nicoletta Machiavelli. She would go on to appear in over 30 films. As a singer she debuted with "Devi Impar", a piece which was also made into a widespread film in the circuit of cinebox, the forerunner of video clips. In 1973 she posed nude for the camera of Gina Lollobrigida who immortalized her as a model for her book "Italia mia". Solinas also graced for the cover of Playman. One of her last appearances was in the successful film by Alex Infascelli "Almost Blue", in 2000, based on the homonymous novel of Carlo Lucarelli. Marisa was married to Italo Panone and is the mother of David Panone. Solinas appeared in four Euro-westerns: “Garter Colt” (1967) as Rosy; “A Colt in the Hand of the Devil” also 1967 as Maya; “Killer, Adios” also 1968 as Sheila Simpson and “Blindman” (1971) as Margherita.

Italian film and voice actress Miranda Bonansea died in Rome, Italy on February 10, 2019. He was 92. Born in Mondovì, Italy on October 31, 1926 she was one the most famous actresses of the thirties in Italy, and then became active as a radio and dubbing actress, particularly known for being the Italian voice of June Allyson, Shirley Temple, Marilyn Monroe, and Judy Garland. She was married from 1952 to 1962 with Italian singer Claudio Villa, from whom she had his son Mauro. Miranda was the Italian voice of Ruth Buzzi in Terence Hill’s 1990 film “Lucky Luke”.

Dick Miller, a prolific screen actor best known for his role as Murray Futterman in the 1984 classic horror film “Gremlins,” has died. He was 90. His career spanned more than 60 years, Miller made hundreds of on screen appearances, beginning in the 1950s with legendary director and producer Roger Corman. It was then that he starred as Walter Paisley – a character the actor would reprise throughout his career – in the cult classic “A Bucket of Blood,” before going on to land roles on projects such as “The ‘Burbs,” “Fame” and “The Terminator.” Dick wrote the story for the Euro-western “Four Rode Out” (1970) directed by John Peyser it starred Sue Lyon and Pernell Roberts.
