Franco de Gemini is an Italian musician famous for playing the harmonica.

He passed away in Rome on July 20th 2013. He was 84. A major part of the Spaghetti Western sound as well as Ennio Morricone, Alessandro Alessandroni, Edda Dell'Orso and I Cantori Moderni. It was De Gemini who added the western flavor of the harmonica to countless Italian soundtracks and scores for the genre. He Founded BEAT Records in 1968 and was a major factor in Italian music for decades. His harmonica playing became legendary and his legend will only grow with his passing.
