Nick Barton returns home to his ranch and finds his family massacred by outlaws, only his daughter Suzy, who was raped, survived. Vowing revenge, he sets out to hunt down the killers. Along the way he meets a mysterious, flute-playing gunslinger named Kimble, who claims to know the identity of the killers and agrees to help bring them to justice. But he has a secret of his own.

Lo ammazzò come un cane... ma lui rideva ancora was re-released in 1979. According to some sources, it also was edited into Porno erotico western, another film released by Pannacciò in 1979. The completely different synopsis and cast of the latter film taken into consideration, it doesn’t seem likely.
