Synopsis
A gang of bandits takes control of Tucson in preparation for the arrival of a consignment of gold, with only a band of voluntary soldiers trying to outwit them and save the town.
Comment
This amateurish looking, widely unknown western was really directed by Matalo! director Cesare Canevari. If Matalo! was a western possibly made under drug influence, Per un dollaro a Tucson si muore looks like the film of a druggie on withdrawal, shot in the woods behind your home (actually it was a tidy looking Yugolavia). It can also be called a weird curiosity due to a total lack of cinematical qualities. Acting, story, dialogue, atmosphere, everything is substandard. To be seen to be believed!
