I am a musician, film buff, writer, occasional actor, and general loafer who enjoys being all of the above--and especially the latter! My obsession with Italian Westerns began in the early 1970's when, as a young lad, I saw a screening of Romolo Guerrieri's JOHNNY YUMA at a makeshift, outdoor theater in a small town in Oklahoma. Shortly after seeing that film I experienced the works of Sergio Leone via TV broadcasts of ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST and the "Dollars" films and I haven't been the same ever since. I wouldn't have it any other way. | |||
