Synopsis

Captain Senkstake and his mate Bruno are shipwrecked in America. They run into an old trapper who gets killed by a bunch of bandits. His last wish is that Senkstake and Bruno hand a bag of gold to his widow. Will the two of them manage to outsmart the bandits?

First episode of German three-part television series "Käpt’n Senkstakes Abenteuer" (The Adventures of Captain Senstake), first aired on January 26, 1974, and later released on VHS. Episodes two and three take place in Scotland and Africa. Hans-Joachim Kulenkampff was a popular German actor and TV host in the 60s and 70s.
