Synopsis

In this murder mystery, cinema patrons are shot dead during a screening of a spaghetti western. While the police are trying to solve the murders by reconstructing the incident and interviewing all patrons and employees, all must remain in place and nobody is allowed to leave the theater, so the murder (likely among them) cannot escape.....

Trivia

In addition to scenes shot specifically for this movie with Giuliano Gemma and William Berger (mainly the showdown), some footage used in the film is from ...e per tetto un cielo di stelle.
The locandina shown in the movie is from I giorni dell'ira (however the big poster for this film was apparently made just for this use), as are a few smaller lobby cards and posters.
After the film's critical success, RAI originally wanted to screen the movie in theaters but this ultimately did not happen.
